Nead an Dreoilín/The Wren's Nest

6 x 4 mins and 1 x 26 mins | 2008 | Created to be viewed either as individual films or as one continuous piece, Nead an Dreoilín is an unique and beautifully crafted collection of short films exploring the poetry of six living Irish language poets. A fresh and innovative piece of work, these films present poetry to the viewer in a way that is at once powerful and poignant.

Image and sound are richly interwoven, as beautifully shot contemporary footage combines with carefully chosen archive footage, to lyrically and poetically reflect the themes explored in each of the poems.
